狀況解析
勞工朋友如於保險有效期間，因罹患傷病接受器官移植(包含心臟、肺臟、肝臟或腎臟移植)或經手術切除器官(包含胰臟、胃、大腸或乳腺全切除，脾臟、腎臟、卵巢、子宮或睪丸切除)，可於移植或切除手術出院之日起5年內，向勞保局申請失能給付。

自願捐贈器官給他人者，因非屬傷害或疾病所致之失能，無法請領失能給付。

Can workers apply for disability claims if they undergo an organ transplant or removal due to disease while under insurance coverage?

Situation Analysis
While under insurance coverage, workers who undergo organ transplant (including transplant of the heart, lung, liver, or kidney) or surgical removal (including complete removal of the pancreas, stomach, large intestine, or breast and removal of the spleen, kidneys, ovaries, uterus, or testicles) may apply for disability claims with the Bureau of Labor Insurance within 5 years from the date of discharge after transplant or removal surgery.

Reminder
Applications for disability claims will be rejected in cases of voluntary organ donations to others resulting in disability unrelated to injury or disease.
